Hibret Bank S.C. is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to apply for several vacant positions at its Head Office and branch locations.

Formerly known as United Bank S.C., Hibret Bank commenced operations in 1998 in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia. The bank is currently seeking competent candidates for the following positions:

Position 1: Senior Human Capital Officer

Work Location: Head Office

Educational Requirement:

  • BA Degree in Human Resource Management or Management.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years as Human Capital Officer II or an equivalent position, or
  • 6 years of relevant banking experience, or
  • 2 years as Senior Human Capital Officer or equivalent, or
  • 7 years of relevant professional experience.

Position 2: Branch Manager Grade C

Work Location: Furi Branch, West Addis Ababa District

Educational Requirement:

  • BA Degree in Management or Accounting.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years as Manager of a Grade D Branch or an equivalent position, or
  • 9 years of relevant banking experience.

Position 3: Head, Non-Funded Financing Portfolio Section

Work Location: Head Office

Educational Requirement:

  • BA Degree in Management or Accounting.

Experience:

  • 4 years as Senior Non-Funded Business Officer or in an equivalent role, or
  • 9 years of relevant banking experience.

Position 4: Head, Building Maintenance Section

Work Location: Head Office

Educational Requirement:

  • BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Technology Management.

Experience:

  • 4 years as Senior Building Maintenance Engineer or an equivalent position, or
  • 9 years of relevant experience, or
  • 2 years as Head of Building Maintenance Section or equivalent, or
  • 10 years of related professional experience.

Position 5: Manager, Management Information System (MIS) Division

Work Location: Head Office

Educational Requirement:

  • MSc/BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

Experience:

For MSc Holders:

  • 2 years as Head of MIS Section or equivalent, or
  • 7 years of relevant experience.

For BSc Holders:

  • 3 years as Head of MIS Section or equivalent, or
  • 11 years of relevant experience in the banking industry.
