Aggar Micro Finance S.C is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the following vacant positions. The institution was established as a private commercial microfinance institution under Proclamation No. 40/96, later replaced by Proclamation No. 626/2009. It provides savings and credit services to customers in both urban and rural areas of Ethiopia.

Position 1: Accountant

Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Required Competencies:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Financial reporting
  • Bank reconciliation

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Branch Manager

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years for MA holders or 5 years for BA holders in banking or microfinance-related positions.
Required Competencies:

  • Branch operations management
  • Financial analysis
  • Leadership
  • Communication skills

Duty Station: Addis Ababa and Wolkite

Position 3: Senior SME Officer

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years for MA holders or 5 years for BA holders.
Required Competencies:

  • SME financing
  • Gender financing
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication skills

Duty Station: Addis Ababa and Wolkite

Position 4: Credit Analyst

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years for MA holders or 5 years for BA holders.
Required Competencies:

  • Credit risk assessment
  • Financial analysis
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements
  • Report preparation

Duty Station: Addis Ababa and Wolkite

Position 5: Senior Customer Service Officer

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years for MA holders or 5 years for BA holders.
Required Competencies:

  • Knowledge of microfinance products
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Customer service
  • Computer literacy

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Wolkite, and Adama

Position 6: Marketing Expert

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Marketing, Economics, Management, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years for MA holders or 5 years for BA holders.
Required Competencies:

  • Market research
  • Relationship management
  • Strong communication skills

Duty Station: Head Office

Position 7: Senior Accountant

Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting.
Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience, including 2 years or more in a senior accounting role.
Required Competencies:

  • Accounting policies and procedures
  • Financial planning
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Duty Station: Addis Ababa and Wolkite

Position 8: Manager – Strategic Planning & Coordination

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 6 years for MA holders or 8 years for BA holders, including relevant senior leadership experience.

  • Coordination between district, branch, and head-office operations
