ZamZam Bank is inviting qualified and experienced banking professionals to apply for the following positions. Candidates with relevant banking experience and knowledge of interest-free banking are encouraged to apply.

Position 1: Senior District Banking Operation Officer

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in banking or branch operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in an officer-level position.

Key Competencies

• Strong knowledge of branch processes, procedures, and operational policies.
• Understanding of NBE directives and Islamic banking operational standards.
• Ability to monitor, evaluate, and report operational KPIs.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to encourage cooperation and knowledge sharing among branches.
• Capability to support performance improvement across multiple branches.
• Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking is an added advantage.

Position 2: Principal District Banking Business Officer

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in senior branch management or multi-branch supervision.

Key Competencies

• Knowledge of banking operations, Sharia-compliant financing, deposits, and customer service.
• Understanding of KYC, AML, local regulations, and Islamic finance requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and performance indicators.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service consistent with Islamic values.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and motivate employees.
• Ability to align branch activities with the Bank’s overall strategic objectives.
• Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking is an added advantage.
