1. Human Rights Officer – Women’s Rights

Qualifications and Experience

• LLB, LLM, or MA in Law, Human Rights Law, International Law, or a related field
• LLB: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• LLM/MA: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Computer literacy is required
• Knowledge of Amharic is mandatory
• Knowledge of other Ethiopian local languages is an advantage

Job Purpose

The Human Rights Officer will conduct day-to-day human rights monitoring activities across different sectors and levels, with a particular focus on the promotion and protection of women’s rights.

Position Details

• Location: Asossa City Office
• Salary: ETB 27,129–31,405 per month
• House Allowance: ETB 12,100
• Transport Allowance: ETB 4,000

2. Translator and Press Officer

Qualifications and Experience

• BA or MA in Language Studies, Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, International Studies, Political Science, or a related field
• BA: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• MA: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Computer literacy is required
• Knowledge of Amharic and the relevant local language of the region is required
