The Senior Architect at Gift Real Estate PLC will lead architectural projects from concept through execution, ensuring high-quality design and compliance with industry standards. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with 5-8 years of experience, who will work in an office environment in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong coordination and networking skills while fostering creativity in architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering, design, and construction processes.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project planning.
Develop detailed architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
Review and approve design proposals, ensuring they meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to gather input and provide updates on project progress.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design innovation.
Mentor junior architects and support their professional development.
Prepare and present project proposals and design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Demonstrate strong coordination and networking skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams.
Exhibit creativity in architectural design, producing innovative and functional solutions.
Possess excellent communication abilities to effectively convey ideas and project updates.
Apply critical thinking to resolve design challenges and optimize project outcomes.
Utilize advanced software tools for architectural design and project management.
Show strong attention to detail in reviewing architectural plans and documentation.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.

Desired Skills:
Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Addis Ababa.
Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization software.
Ability to conduct presentations and workshops to engage clients and stakeholders.
Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
