Position 1: IT Support Engineer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft certifications, or other recognized industry certifications.
  • 3–4 years of experience in IT support, service desk, infrastructure support, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and wireless networking technologies.
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).

Job Purpose

The IT Support Engineer will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT services by resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting end users, and keeping business technology systems available and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist users with enterprise applications and productivity tools.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN, internet, wireless, and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain hardware and software asset records.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and system updates.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to specialized teams or vendors when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, governance, and organizational policies.
  • Deliver user training and contribute to initiatives that improve IT service delivery.

Position 2: People & Culture Specialist

Location: Bahir Dar

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of HR systems, policies, and processes, including Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of HR analytics, workforce reporting, and performance management.
  • Project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, HR documentation, and compliance requirements.

Job Purpose

The People & Culture Specialist will provide comprehensive HR support by managing HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, and organizational change initiatives that enhance employee experience and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Advise managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support HR operations and organizational change initiatives.
  • Ensure efficient execution of HR processes.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment activities and candidate experience.
  • Facilitate onboarding and successful employee integration.

Learning & Development

  • Identify competency gaps and coordinate training programs.
  • Monitor employee development plans and capability-building initiatives.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support performance management and employee development plans.
  • Contribute to succession planning, talent retention, and workforce development.
  • Monitor HR metrics and performance reports.

Employee Relations

  • Respond to employee HR inquiries.
  • Promote fair and consistent application of HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company standards.

HR Excellence

  • Collaborate with HR specialists and business leaders.
  • Provide HR insights through reporting and data analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen HR effectiveness.
