We are seeking a detail-oriented
Junior Accountant
with a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate ledgers while supporting month-end closing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for daily data entry, routine account reconciliations, and providing essential support to the finance team to ensure overall financial data integrity.
Job Description
-
Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor inventory valuation and cost accounting for pharmaceutical products.
Supports senior accountants during the month-end closing process by preparing basic accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Prepare and file tax returns and statutory reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor cash flow and assist in treasury management.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Verify procurement, sales, and operational transactions for accuracy.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Support financial controls and risk management processes.
Ensure proper documentation and record retention for all financial transactions.
Experience
– 2 years and above
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
Requirement skill
Proficinecy in MS Word and Excel
Oral and Written communication
