Purpose of the job
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s coffee export and import businesses including strategy, operations, finance, procurement, logistics, compliance, business development and stakeholder relations.
Key responsibilities      
– Develop and execute corporate strategy and annual business plans.
– Drive growth in coffee exports, specialty coffee markets and import businesses.
– Lead procurement, quality control, warehousing, dry milling and logistics operations.
– Manage key international clients, suppliers, financial institutions and regulators.
– Oversee budgeting, cash flow, profitability and financial performance.
– Ensure compliance with Ethiopian trade, tax and export regulations.
– Negotiate suppliers, banks and service providers.
– Lead recruitment, performance management and organizational development.
– Monitor market trends and identify new export and import opportunities.
– Prepare management reports and present business performance to shareholders.
Job Requirements 
Education               – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
– Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.
 Experience    – 12–15 years of experience.
