We are hiring on behalf of our client Abay Investment Holding for one of it’s subsidiaries Debre Berhan Pre Engineered Solutions S.C. (formerly TI Metals & Forming S.C.).  

Debre Berhan Pre Engineered Solutions S.C. (formerly TI Metals & Forming S.C.) is a premier manufacturer of prefabricated steel solutions, established in July 2013. Located on a 1.9-hectare site on the outskirts of Debre Berhan, the company operates a state-of-the-art facility equipped with automated fabrication machinery and comprehensive material handling capabilities. Currently, the company is in its sixth year of business, navigating a strategic transition to ensure long-term survival and sustainable growth amid challenging economic conditions.

Purpose of the job
The General Manager provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and complete financial accountability for Debre Berhan Pre Engineered Solutions S.C. The GM is responsible for driving the strategic turnaround, ensuring total alignment with shareholder financial mandates, and navigating complex stakeholder relations, including engagements with financial institutions like Abay Bank.
Key responsibilities      
– Execute the company’s turnaround roadmap to achieve financial viability and sustainable growth.
– Oversee structural adherence to financial reporting standards, manage debt servicing, and safeguard corporate liquidity.
– Enforce high organizational standards to eliminate operational inefficiencies and rent-seeking attitudes.
– Maintain high-level engagement with shareholders and financial institutions regarding credit facilities and restructuring.
– Formulate and present data-backed progress evaluations, operational analyses, and financial statements directly to the Board.
Job Requirements 
Education               – MBA, Master’s in Industrial Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related executive discipline.
 Experience    – Minimum of 8 years of progressive corporate management experience, with at least 4 years in a senior director or executive capacity within an industrial or manufacturing sector.
Skills– Strong command of P&L oversight, industrial manufacturing costing, and corporate financial frameworks.
– Proven capability to lead complex organizational restructuring and execute change management.
