We are looking for qualified candidates to join our team in Harar for the following positions:
1. Project Officer, Livelihood
About the Role:
As a Livelihood Officer, you will plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate livelihood-related project activities, ensuring compliance with donor requirements. You will also collaborate with partners and stakeholders to deliver integrated, need-based services to project beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed annual and quarterly livelihood project plans.
- Actively engage women and girls in vulnerable positions in project activities.
- Prepare and submit high-quality progress reports in line with donor and government requirements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of the project budget and meet planned targets.
- Supervise day-to-day livelihood activities and participate in beneficiary selection.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA/MA in Livelihoods, Development Studies, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 5 years in livelihood projects or similar roles.
- Skills: Strong project management experience.

2. Project Officer, Gender Inclusion
About the Role:
The Gender Inclusion Officer will integrate gender and disability mainstreaming into project activities and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training on gender-responsive programs.

- Integrate protection measures against gender-based violence (SGBV) into project activities.
Qualifications:

- Comply with traffic laws and ensure passenger safety.
Qualifications:
- Education: Primary school completion; literacy in English required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of driving experience (NGO experience preferred).
- Skills: Valid driver’s license, basic auto mechanics knowledge.
