Position: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (current students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to learn about occupational safety regulations and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out routine workplace safety inspections across operational areas.
• Support the recording and documentation of workplace accidents and incidents.
• Help organize employee safety awareness and training programs.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the implementation of workplace health and safety policies.
• Assist the Senior EHS Officer in identifying workplace hazards and recommending preventive measures.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Health principles.
