Customs Clearance Manager

Particular combination of skills
1. 5 years and above customs clearance business experience, especially in ICT industry, familiar with Ethiopia Customs policies, FV, bank permit, ECA, INSA, EIC, Duty free regulations and ESW operations;
2. Familiar with HSCODE rules, customs valuation, country of origin rules;
3. Have team management experience, especially cross-culture;
4. Good communication skills;
5. Have work experience in international company is better;
Duties and responsibilities
1. Build regular relationship with customs, NBE, ECA, INSA, EIC, etc;
2. Monitor the policies of Ethiopia importation and make analysis affection to company, involve in the policies discussion with related government;
3. Monitor customs clearance period, identify the key issues and find solutions to solve;
4. Build Customs clearance process and regulations internally for different business scenario;
5. Give customs clearance training to other department regularly;
6. Manage customs clearance suppliers to make sure quick clearance and compliance;
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Years of Work Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in logistics
Language Requirement
Fluent English speaking and writing

2. Be good at coordinating peripheral resources, and have strong driving and learning capabilities.
3. Be good at integrating local culture and mobilizing local team enthusiasm.
4. Strong anti-pressure capability
