African Lakes Ethiopia PLC is inviting qualified TVET fresh graduates to apply for its Trainee Technician opportunity within the Product Support (Machinery) Department.

African Lakes Ethiopia PLC was originally established in 1961 as AMROPA Motors Limited. The company initially operated as the representative of Ford Motor Company in Ethiopia and was later acquired by African Lakes. The organization continues to operate in the automotive and machinery sector.

Position: Trainee Technician – Machinery

The successful candidates will join the Product Support (Machinery) Department after completing the company’s trainee technician program.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should be 2025/26 academic year TVET graduates with Level IV or Level V qualifications and valid CoC certification in one of the following fields:

• Automotive Technology
• Electrical and Electronic Equipment Servicing
• Industrial Electrical and Electronics Control Technology
• Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance

Experience

• Fresh graduates with 0 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates must have gained practical knowledge through an internship.
• Successful completion of an internship is required.
