The Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) is inviting qualified and interested applicants to apply for a Temporary Data Encoder position. This short-term assignment offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and individuals with ICT knowledge to gain practical experience supporting data management and digital health information systems.

Position: Temporary Data Encoder

  • Employment Type: Temporary (10 Working Days)
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • A Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or a related field.
  • Basic computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Exposure to the iHRIS web-based system through volunteer work or experience in a Civil Society Organization (CSO) environment is an advantage.
  • No prior work experience is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering and verifying data in the iHRIS system.
  • Assisting with the generation of certificates through the iHRIS platform.
  • Reviewing records to ensure data completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality and security of organizational information.
  • Performing other related duties assigned during the temporary assignment.
