Job Summary
The Purchasing Officer will manage day-to-day sourcing activities, including collecting and evaluating quotations, preparing purchase orders, following approval procedures, tracking deliveries, and maintaining procurement records.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Degree must be from a recognized Ethiopian university More than 2 years of relevant work experience Procurement certification such as CIPS or CPSM is an advantage Knowledge of Ethiopian procurement laws is an advantage Good communication skills in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic
Key Responsibilities
Collect and evaluate supplier quotations Prepare purchase orders and follow approval chains Track delivery of purchased items Maintain procurement documentation and records Coordinate with logistics and property units
