position:
1. Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor
Quantities: 1
Qualification:  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field
Experience:  Minimum of 5 years and above related work experience in the position.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Head Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Negotiable
Job Purpose
A senior Auditor plans and executes end- to-end audits, evaluates internal controls, and manages junior staff. They ensure an organization’s financial and operational processes comply with regulations and standards, ultimately identifying risks and presenting corrective recommendations to senior management.
Senior Internal Auditor Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning: Develop risk-based audit scopes, objective, and testing procedures for assigned engagements.
Execution & Testing: Perform control and substantive testing to verify the effectiveness of operational, compliance,
Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
