The Role
The Coffee Bag Printing Technician is responsible for designing, preparing, and executing printing tasks on small and large coffee holders. This role ensures that all packaging meets branding, quality, and compliance standards, while supporting the company’s operational efficiency during restructuring.
Location:
Gelan-Oromia
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain industrial printing machines for coffee bag production.
Design and prepare layouts for printing on coffee holders in line with company branding.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and durability of printed information (logos, product details, compliance marks).
Collaborate with packaging and warehouse teams to align printing schedules with production needs.
Monitor quality control standards to guarantee consistency across batches.
Maintain records of printing jobs, materials used, and production timelines.
Troubleshoot printing equipment and coordinate maintenance when required.
Support the development of new packaging designs and contribute to policy updates related to branding and packaging.
Requirements
Education:
Diploma or Certificate in Printing Technology, Industrial Design, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years in industrial printing, preferably in coffee packaging.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of printing machines and maintenance.
Familiarity with packaging design software.
Understanding of ink, materials, and durability standards for large-scale packaging.
Other Requirements:
Attention to detail and quality assurance.
Ability to work under tight production schedules.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
