Job Purpose
Sky Gate Plc is seeking motivated, customer-focused, and energetic candidates to join our retail team as Sales Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for high-achieving recent graduates and final-year students who are expected to complete their studies by August 2026 and are looking to start their careers in a dynamic international retail environment.
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales activities, maintaining store standards, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for travelers at Bole International Airport. A comprehensive training will be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service:Greeting customers, answering questions, providing product information, and delivering a positive shopping experience.
Sales & Transactions
:If needed supporting customers onProcessing payments (cash/card), handling refunds, and using
POS systems
.
Stock Management
:Receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory; restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels.
Security & Policy
:Preventing theft, ensuring safety, and following company procedures.
Upselling:
Informing customers about promotions and suggesting products to increase sales.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum cumulative GPA/CGPA of
3.40 and above

Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to retail operations.
Basic computer literacy and numerical skills.
Knowledge of additional foreign languages is an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight schedules.
