Role description
The Senior HR & General Services Officer will lead HR operations (talent management, compliance, employee relations) and oversee general services (facilities, logistics, vendor management). The role ensures alignment of HR and administrative strategies with organizational goals while driving efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid-to-senior roles.
Design onboarding programs and coordinate training/development initiatives.
Manage performance appraisal systems and provide coaching to line managers.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and audit requirements.
Resolve complex grievances and disciplinary issues.
Drive engagement initiatives (surveys, recognition programs).
Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and benchmarking.
Supervise office maintenance, security, and space planning.
Ensure health/safety compliance (e.g., fire drills, ergonomic assessments).
Negotiate contracts with suppliers (cleaning, IT, catering) and monitor SLAs.
Optimize costs and service quality.

Approve procurement requests and manage budgets.
Partner with finance on budget control and with IT on HRIS/system upgrades.
Advise senior management on HR/operational risks and improvements.
