Position 1: Senior Finance Officer

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or SACCO operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, taxation, and budgeting.
• Experience using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Position 2: Senior Credit Analyst

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or risk management.
• Experience in analyzing corporate, SME, and/or retail credit portfolios.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong financial statement analysis and credit appraisal skills.
• Good knowledge of lending principles, risk assessment methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Key Performance Areas:

• Preparing accurate and quality credit analysis reports.
• Ensuring timely credit assessments and recommendations.
• Maintaining good portfolio quality and managing non-performing loans.
• Ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulations.
• Identifying and mitigating credit risks.
• Supporting portfolio growth while maintaining acceptable risk levels.
