Job Summary:
To oversee the effective management, maintenance, and operation of the organization's facilities, ensuring a safe, secure, functional, and cost-effective working environment. The Senior Facility Officer is responsible for coordinating facility maintenance, managing service providers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting the organization's operational needs through efficient facility management practices.
Key Responsibility
Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the organization's facilities and premises.
Ensure all facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
Conduct regular facility inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems, and other facility assets.
Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and facility performance. Supervise contractors, maintenance service providers, cleaning companies, and security service providers.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with service agreements.
Review service quality and recommend improvements where necessary.
Verify completed works before processing payments.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and fire safety regulations.
Coordinate facility safety inspections and emergency preparedness activities.
Monitor workplace safety standards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate facility-related incidents and prepare reports.
Bachelor's degree inFacilities Management, Building Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldfrom a recognized university
.
with 4/6 years of bank/MF experience, of which 2 Years as an officer in a related area.
