Position: Senior Accountant (Female)

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
• Strong practical experience using Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with ERCA/eTax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, pension, and other statutory tax submissions.
• Solid understanding of Ethiopian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using Peachtree (Sage 50).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, customers, and general ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset management.
• Ensure accurate inventory recording and cost accounting.
• Prepare and submit VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, pension, and other statutory returns through the ERCA/eTax system.
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior accounting staff.

Preferred Candidates

Preference will be given to female applicants residing in or around Hayat, Tafo, 72, and nearby areas to facilitate convenient commuting.
