Ethiopian Broadcasting Service (EBS TV) is a privately owned Ethiopian satellite television channel that began broadcasting in 2008. The organization is seeking qualified and motivated professionals as part of its efforts to strengthen its institutional structure and introduce modern operational systems.

Position: Quality Controller (Product Quality Assurance)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Consumer Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, product inspection, retail buying, or a related area.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or broadcast media is an advantage.
• Knowledge of teleshopping, e-commerce, or retail quality standards is highly desirable.
• Understanding of product safety standards and certification requirements for areas such as electrical products, cosmetics, food, and textiles.
• Knowledge of consumer protection and regulations concerning truthful advertising claims.
• Basic understanding of broadcast production schedules and live-show workflows.
• Good documentation and reporting skills, including MS Office/Excel. Experience with database or inventory systems is an advantage.
