Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant post-graduation work experience
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in the fuel and energy sector
• Practical knowledge of Sage 300 (ACCPAC) accounting software is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies and regulations
• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and reconciliations
• Managing day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger
• Monitoring expenses, managing cash flow, and supporting tax and audit processes
• Using Sage 300 (ACCPAC) for recording transactions, generating reports, and handling inventory-related accounting tasks
• Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial data flow
• Ensuring timely month-end and year-end financial closing processes
