Position Overview
The Salesperson is responsible for selling the company’s products and services to individual customers, retailers, or businesses. This role focuses on increasing product awareness, driving sales volume, achieving revenue targets, and building strong, long-term relationships with clients while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Sales
Present the benefits, features, and value proposition of products in a clear, persuasive, and easy-to-understand manner.
Address customer inquiries, overcome objections, and effectively close sales.
2. Sales Generation & Target Achievement
Achieve and exceed monthly/annual sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Drive consistent sales growth within the assigned territory or market segment.
Actively identify new business opportunities, attract new customers, and convert prospects into loyal buyers.
3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and retail partners.
Provide continuous support, excellent customer service, and regular follow-ups to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
Handle customer complaints or concerns efficiently and provide appropriate solutions.
4. Market Analysis & Lead Generation
Gather and analyze market intelligence, including customer needs, purchasing trends, and competitor activities (pricing, products, and strategies).
Actively prospect and generate new market leads to expand the customer base.
Provide actionable feedback and market insights to the sales management team to help refine sales strategies.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily sales activities, customer interactions, meetings, and sales closed.
Prepare and submit regular sales performance reports, pipeline updates, and customer feedback summaries to management.
6. Compliance & Professionalism
Ensure all sales and promotional activities strictly adhere to the company’s policies, ethical standards, and legal guidelines.
Represent the brand professionally at all times in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
Experience:  2 years and above direct experience (Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or promotion is preferred)
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Time management and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
