We are not looking for someone to maintain the current sales operation.
We are looking for someone who can transform it.
This position is for a leader who builds systems, develops people, drives execution, creates demand, and delivers measurable commercial results.
Position Mission
Lead the complete transformation of our sales and marketing organization by building a disciplined, data-driven, premium commercial system that consistently increases revenue, market share, customer loyalty, profitability, and brand value.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a national sales growth strategy.
Build a premium market positioning that competes on value—not price.
Design sales territories based on crops, geography, seasons, and customer potential.
Build and manage distributor and dealer networks.
Develop large commercial farms, NGOs, government projects, and institutional customers.
Create accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Establish CRM discipline with daily reporting and measurable KPIs.
Improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Increase credit collection performance through systematic follow-up.
Lead product launches and marketing campaigns.
Build high-performing sales teams through coaching, field mentoring, and accountability.
Use data to identify opportunities, solve commercial problems, and improve profitability.
Work closely with production, finance, and operations to ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience.
Proven success in managing nationwide commercial operations.
Strong experience in premium brand development.
Hands-on experience implementing CRM systems and structured sales processes.
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and analytical skills.
A strong understanding of the Ethiopian agricultural market is highly desirable.
