The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the hospital's sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship strategies to increase market share, patient volumes, and revenue growth. The role oversees brand management, corporate client acquisition, insurance partnerships, digital marketing, public relations, customer experience, and referral development. The Sales and Marketing Manager works closely with clinical, operational, and administrative departments to promote the hospital's services, strengthen its market position, and support sustainable organizational growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Business Development Duties:
Develop and implement annual sales and business development strategies aligned with the hospital's strategic objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate organizations, insurance companies, NGOs, government institutions, embassies, and international organizations.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients and referral partners.
Negotiate service agreements and corporate healthcare contracts within delegated authority.
Develop initiatives to increase patient referrals and utilization of hospital services.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Marketing and Brand Management Duties:
Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans to promote the hospital's services and brand.
Manage advertising, promotional campaigns, digital marketing, social media, website content, and public awareness initiatives.
Ensure consistent application of the hospital's brand identity across all communication channels.
Coordinate the development of brochures, promotional materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to support strategic positioning.
Customer Experience and Service Excellence Duties:
Collaborate with operational departments to enhance patient satisfaction and customer experience.
Monitor patient feedback, complaints, compliments, and satisfaction surveys.
Recommend service improvements based on customer insights and market expectations.
Support implementation of customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives.
Promote a customer-centered culture throughout the organization.
Market Research and Strategic Planning Duties:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
Analyze patient demographics, referral patterns, market trends, and healthcare demand.
Prepare business cases for new services, market expansion, and promotional initiatives.
Support strategic planning through market intelligence and performance analysis.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, marketing, and customer engagement.
Digital Marketing and Communications Duties:
Oversee the hospital's digital marketing strategy, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, and social media.
Coordinate the creation of engaging digital content to promote healthcare services and health education.
Monitor online reputation and respond appropriately to public feedback in collaboration with management.
Analyze digital campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards in healthcare marketing and communications.
Leadership and Administrative Duties:
Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Relations, and Digital Marketing staff.
Develop departmental work plans, budgets, and performance reports.
Assign responsibilities and monitor achievement of departmental objectives.
Promote teamwork, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Participate in executive and management meetings, providing market insights and strategic recommendations.
Compliance and Quality Assurance Duties
Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with applicable laws, healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
Protect the confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Ensure marketing communications are accurate, professional, and consistent with approved organizational messaging.
Support accreditation, quality improvement, and organizational development initiatives.
Other Duties as Required
Participate in strategic planning, service development, and organizational growth initiatives.
Support new service launches and expansion projects.
Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Operating Officer or BDM Director.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Sales Management, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, business development, or corporate relationship management, with at least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in a hospital, healthcare organization, insurance company, pharmaceutical company, or other healthcare-related industry is highly preferred.
Professional certification in marketing, sales, digital marketing, or customer relationship management is an added advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and digital marketing platforms.
