Position: Program Coordinator – Jobtech for Refugees and Youth

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding and proven experience working in refugee settings is essential.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in project management, management consulting, livelihoods, or employment-related programs.
  • Experience collaborating with the private sector, either as a partner or employee, is required.
  • Previous experience working with refugees is highly desirable, while experience in start-ups or technology-driven initiatives is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results with excellent self-management skills.
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to working in challenging environments.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, as the role involves collaboration with a regional English-speaking team.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and insights.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite) and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of livelihood programming, market systems development, and financial inclusion.
  • Educational background in Social Work, Project Management, Development Studies, Economics, or Business Administration is advantageous.
