Awash Bank Job Vacancy 2026 – 5 Positions

Awash Bank S.C. is inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for five vacant positions in Addis Ababa. The opportunities are available in administration, software engineering, personal/SME banking, and corporate banking.

Position 1: Administrative Assistant I

Qualification & Experience

  • BA degree in Administrative Services Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in secretarial services.

Position 2: Software Engineer II

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, software development, system integration, project management, and/or banking.
  • A Master's degree in an IT-related field is an advantage.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support system development and integration activities.
  • Participate in requirements gathering.
  • Develop and customize applications.
  • Conduct testing and bug fixing.
  • Install new or modified applications.
  • Ensure new systems integrate properly with existing banking systems.

Position 3: Relationship Manager – Personal & SME Banking II

Qualification & Experience

  • BA degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum 9 years of banking experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.

Additional Requirements

  • Banking operations experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience serving affluent or high-net-worth clients is preferred.

Main Responsibilities
The position focuses on developing customer relationships, increasing deposits and loans, promoting SME and business banking products, acquiring new customers, and expanding business with existing clients.

Position 4: Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking III

Qualification & Experience

  • BA degree in a business-related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of banking-sector experience.
  • Experience supporting affluent or high-net-worth clients is preferred.

Main Responsibilities
The role involves managing corporate banking relationships, growing deposits and loans, promoting corporate banking products, acquiring new customers, and expanding business with existing clients.

Qualification & Experience

  • BA degree in a business-related field.
