Key Role & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) and Control:
● Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specified requirements.
● Perform regular inspections, testing, and analysis of products to confirm compliance with internal and external quality standards.
● Lead and execute quality audits, both internal and external, to ensure the organization adheres to required quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, industry-specific standards).
● Investigate product quality issues, determine root causes, and collaborate with teams to develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Process Control and Optimization:
● Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency throughout production.
● Work with production teams to analyze process flows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to reduce waste, improve yield, and maintain product quality.
● Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other tools to assess production data, identify deviations, and optimize processes.
● Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes, ensuring they meet both quality and efficiency goals.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
● Provide technical expertise to resolve complex quality issues and process-related challenges that arise during production.
● Lead troubleshooting efforts in collaboration with the production team, identifying process or equipment issues and recommending corrective measures to maintain product quality.
● Support the root cause analysis for non-conformances, determining corrective actions, and monitoring their implementation.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
● Analyze quality metrics, production data, and processperformance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
● Generate regular quality reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting product quality performance, process deviations, and areas of improvement.
● Use data analysis tools like Minitab, Excel, or SPC software to track performance, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
Regulatory and Industry Compliance:
● Ensure that all quality control and process control activities comply with regulatory and industry standards applicable to the construction chemicals manufacturing sector.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory changes, ensuring that products and processes comply with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
● Support certifications and audits to ensure compliance with international standards, such as ISO or local regulatory bodies.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Communication:
● Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to align product specifications, process improvements, and quality control activities.
● Communicate quality expectations and findings tocross-functional teams, promoting a culture of quality across the organization.
● Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that raw materials meet required specifications before entering production.
Training and Development:
● Train operators, technicians, and production staff on quality control practices, process monitoring, and continuous improvement techniques.
● Share best practices for quality assurance and process control across the team, promoting adherence to quality standards at all levels of production.
Continuous Improvement:
1. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to improve production efficiency and product quality.
2. Identify opportunities for cost savings, waste reduction, and process enhancements while maintaining or improving quality standards.
3. Encourage and lead initiatives to drive ongoing improvements in both product and process, contributing to the company’s strategic objectives. Perform other job-related duties as required by the company
Minimum Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Preferred Education:
● Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline is a plus, particularly for candidates aiming to take on more strategic roles in the future.

Quality Assurance & Control: Strong understanding of quality control processes, including developing and implementing quality management systems, inspection protocols, and testing methods for raw materials and products.
Process Control & Optimization: Expertise in process control methodologies, including process flow analysis, root cause analysis, and statistical process control to identify and mitigate inefficiencies.

Working Experience
3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, process control, or manufacturing operations in industries like construction chemicals, chemicals, or similar manufacturing sectors.
Hands-on experience in quality control processes, including testing, inspection, and troubleshooting during manufacturing.
Proven ability to use process optimization tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Process Mapping to improve product quality and reduce waste.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications.
Prior experience in cross-functional collaboration with production, R&D, procurement, and other teams to maintain product quality andimprove production efficiency.
