Ethio Lifts Manufacturing Plc is inviting qualified and motivated professionals to apply for multiple job vacancies in Addis Ababa. The company is seeking candidates with engineering and procurement backgrounds to support its growing elevator manufacturing and installation operations.

Position 1: Junior Mechanical / Electromechanical Sales Engineer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, engineering, cost estimation, quotation preparation, elevator systems, construction, or electromechanical equipment.

Required Skills

  • Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for pricing and cost estimation.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or quotation systems is an advantage.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic.
  • Customer-focused, organized, and eager to learn.

Position 2: Procurement and Import Officer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Management, or another related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source quotations from local and international suppliers.
  • Compare supplier offers and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders and monitor procurement activities.
  • Coordinate import documentation and customs clearance processes.
  • Work with freight forwarders, banks, insurance providers, and government agencies.
  • Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
  • Prepare procurement and shipment performance reports.

Required Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement and import procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
