Pharo Ventures is seeking qualified, experienced, and customer-focused professionals to fill the following positions in Addis Ababa.

Position 1: Cashier / Receptionist

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Cashier, Finance Assistant, Customer Service Officer, or in a similar position, preferably within a healthcare environment.

Key Requirements

  • Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience handling cash transactions, billing, and financial records.
  • Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and cashiering, billing, or accounting systems.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain service quality.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience coordinating schedules and collaborating across departments.

Position 2: Storekeeper

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Health Systems Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Additional certification in inventory management, warehousing, or healthcare procurement is an advantage.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably within a healthcare, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or laboratory environment.

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of EFDA storage regulations and healthcare procurement procedures.
  • Familiarity with cold-chain management, temperature monitoring, and hazardous chemical storage.
  • Strong inventory management, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High ethical standards when handling medical supplies and procurement records.
  • Good communication skills in both Amharic and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Position 3: Customer Service Coordinator

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • More than 5 years of experience in customer service, front office operations, healthcare administration, or patient relations.

Key Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, complaint resolution, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications for scheduling, registration, reporting, and office administration.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments while maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Strong commitment to service excellence, teamwork, and patient satisfaction.
  • Experience working in an ISO-certified organization is an added advantage.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with the ability to respond effectively during emergencies.
  • Experience using radiology information systems and other healthcare technologies is desirable.
