Medical Teams International (MTI) is inviting qualified professionals to apply for several health and humanitarian positions in Ethiopia. The organization is seeking committed individuals to support healthcare services, nutrition programs, mental health services, health systems strengthening, and data management in different project locations.

Position 1: Health Systems Strengthening Officer

Educational Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH), or
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Officer, Health Policy, or another related health field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience working at the Primary Health Care (PHC) level.
• At least 2 years of experience managing health service operations, health governance, or health systems strengthening.
• Previous experience with humanitarian organizations or international NGOs is an advantage.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Good understanding of Ethiopia's Ministry of Health systems and standards.
• Knowledge of humanitarian principles and standards such as Sphere, CHS, and the Red Cross Code of Conduct.
• Familiarity with HMIS and Dagu reporting systems.
• Strong communication, teamwork, monitoring, and reporting skills.

Duty Station: Yallo

Position 2: Nutrition Officer

Educational Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Officer, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Valid professional license.
• Training on the 2019 National Acute Malnutrition (AM) Management Protocol.

Experience

• At least 3 years of Primary Health Care experience.
• Minimum 1 year managing nutrition services within an NGO.
• Experience with international NGOs is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of nutrition and humanitarian programming.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English and Amharic.

Duty Stations: Maekele Adiabo and Asgede Woreda

Position 3: Health Systems Strengthening Officer

Qualifications

• MPH or Bachelor's Degree in Health Officer, Public Health, Health Policy, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of PHC experience and 2 years in health systems strengthening or health governance.
• Experience working with humanitarian organizations is desirable.

Duty Station: Maekele Adiabo

Position 4: Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Officer

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience providing mental health and psychosocial support services.
• Training in WHO mhGAP, Psychological First Aid (PFA), or trauma-informed care.
• Previous experience with an international NGO is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of humanitarian standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
• Emotional maturity and commitment to humanitarian work.

Position 5: Data Entry Clerk

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Statistics, Social Work, or another related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience for Diploma holders or 1 year for Bachelor's Degree holders.
• Experience in humanitarian or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Previous experience with an international NGO is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of humanitarian and development programs.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Amharic.
• Ability to manage and maintain accurate data records.
