Samaritan's Purse (SP) is inviting qualified healthcare professionals to apply for multiple positions in Ethiopia. The organization is seeking experienced candidates to support its humanitarian health and nutrition programs in emergency-affected communities. These positions are subject to the availability of funding.

Position 1: Health & Nutrition Program Manager

Number of Positions: 2

Contract Duration: Until 31 December 2026 (subject to funding)

Educational Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Master of Public Health (MPH) or
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a recognized institution.

Experience

Candidates should possess:

• 3–4 years of relevant experience for applicants with an MPH degree, or
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience for Medical Doctors.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership or health coordination experience.
• Previous experience working in humanitarian or low-resource settings is highly desirable.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English and Amharic.
• Knowledge of the local language of the duty station is required.
• Additional Ethiopian language skills are an advantage.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine is preferred.

Experience

• 5–6 years of clinical experience in hospitals or healthcare facilities.
• Experience working in humanitarian or resource-limited settings is an advantage.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.

Language Requirements

• Good command of English and Amharic.
• Knowledge of the regional language is required.
• Additional local language skills are considered an advantage.
