Plan International Ethiopia is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Logistics Coordinator – Fleet, Inventory & Asset. This opportunity is ideal for supply chain professionals who have strong experience in logistics, fleet operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and asset management, and who are passionate about supporting humanitarian and development programs.

Position: Logistics Coordinator – Fleet, Inventory & Asset

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or another related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • At least 3 years in senior-level responsibilities involving fleet management, warehouse operations, inventory, assets, and customs clearance.
  • NGO or INGO experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate fleet operations and transportation services.
  • Manage organizational assets and inventory efficiently.
  • Supervise warehouse operations and stock control.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of vehicles.
  • Monitor inventory records and asset tracking systems.
  • Prepare logistics reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support project implementation.

Required Skills

  • Good negotiation and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, fleet management, and inventory systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in mechanics is an added advantage.
  • Experience in international logistics and customs regulations.
  • Training or experience in capacity building.
  • Additional qualifications in supply chain management are beneficial.
