Position 1: Logistics Coordinator – Fleet, Inventory & Asset

Duty Station: Country Office

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant logistics and supply chain management experience.
  • At least 3 years in a senior-level role managing fleet, warehouse, inventory, assets, and customs clearing.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Good planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Fleet Management Systems (FMS), and asset/inventory management software.
  • Solid technical knowledge of fleet, inventory, and asset management.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in mechanics.
  • Experience in staff training and capacity building.
  • Knowledge of international supply chain operations and customs regulations.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian sector logistics.
  • Additional qualifications in supply chain management are advantageous.

Position 2: Logistics Assistant – Warehouse and Asset

Duty Station: Jile Tumuga Woreda, Senbete Town

Educational Qualification

  • BA Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing and Supplies Management, or another related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in warehouse management, storekeeping, stock control, or similar roles, preferably within an INGO.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience in storekeeping and basic bookkeeping.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of handling warehouse supplies.
  • Willingness to work extra hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience preparing stock and inventory reports.

Language Requirement

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.
