Red Cloud ICT Solutions PLC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional to fill the position of Junior IT Engineer.

Position: Junior IT Engineer

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required Knowledge and Competencies

• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux/Ubuntu server administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSH.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or similar platforms.
• Basic scripting knowledge using Bash, Python, or related languages is advantageous.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies and server management fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a practical technical environment.

Technical Skills

• Experience working with operating systems including Windows Server/Desktop, Linux, and macOS.
• Good listening, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cloud server security policies.
• Monitor server and network performance, troubleshoot routine issues, and escalate complex problems when required.
• Assist in managing system security, user permissions, and access controls.
• Support the configuration and maintenance of networking equipment, including routers and firewalls.
• Participate in cybersecurity-related projects and infrastructure deployment activities under supervision.
• Learn and apply emerging technologies, including AI and automation solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network architecture, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve system reliability, performance, and security.
