The International Rescue Committee (IRC) invites qualified and motivated professionals to apply for the following positions:
1. Finance Officer
Qualifications and Experience
- BA or MBA Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience for Bachelor's Degree holders.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience for Diploma holders.
- Previous experience with NGOs is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with the local context is desirable.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using the ERP Integra system is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Afan Oromo is highly preferred.

2. Supply Chain Officer – Procurement
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for Bachelor's Degree holders.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience for Master's Degree holders.
- Experience working in NGO or humanitarian environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Integra ERP system is desirable.
Preferred Experience and Competencies
- Strong understanding of procurement procedures and practices, particularly within NGOs.
- Proven experience in procurement leadership, supply chain planning, sourcing, and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of procurement planning, contracting, market assessment, and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct market analysis and identify effective sourcing solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from programs, operations, and finance departments.
- Experience coordinating suppliers and contractors.
- Ability to organize, supervise, and monitor emergency response activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Adaptability and a positive approach to organizational change.
- Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Afan Oromo is highly advantageous.
