Position: EV Charging Station Technician

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience; or
• Diploma/Level IV qualification in a related technical field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Required Knowledge and Competencies

• Familiarity with EV charging systems and electrical equipment.
• Ability to monitor charger operations and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Understanding of electrical safety regulations and procedures.
• Knowledge of EV charging software platforms and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage traffic flow and parking arrangements.
• Competence in record-keeping and report preparation.
• Capability to respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and operational emergencies.
• Basic proficiency in digital systems and applications.
