New Flower General Trading PLC is inviting qualified and interested applicants to apply for the following vacant positions. The company is seeking professionals with relevant educational backgrounds, technical skills, and experience in automotive, manufacturing, electrical, and communications-related fields.

Position 1: Junior Auto Mechanic

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc, Diploma, Level III/IV, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with practical automotive skills may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Good discipline, teamwork, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Relevant Skills: Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

Position 2: Junior Auto Electrician

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc, Diploma, Level III/IV, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Electricity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong practical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of DC electrical systems and vehicle wiring.
• Ability to use a multimeter and basic electrical tools.
• Willingness to learn about electric vehicle electrical and battery systems.

Position 3: Plant Manager

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in automotive, electric vehicle, vehicle assembly, machinery, or manufacturing plants is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, maintenance, quality control, and plant operations.
• Knowledge of EV systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-management abilities.
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing and vehicle assembly processes.
• Ability to respond quickly to machine breakdowns, workforce shortages, and other production-floor challenges.

Relevant Skills: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Health and related fields.

Position 4: Senior Auto Electrician

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, Level IV, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Electricity, Auto Electrics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant automotive electrical experience.
• Previous experience working with electric vehicles is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DC electrical systems, batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, charging systems, and vehicle electronics.
• Ability to understand and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.

Position 5: Media Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in media monitoring, journalism, communications, PR, media research, or a related role.
• Good understanding of Ethiopian media outlets and the local media landscape.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately summarize information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Ability to monitor multiple sources and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Good organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant Skills: Communication, Journalism, coordination, networking, and facilitation.
