Job Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports.
• Assisting the Senior Accountant with customer-related financial transactions.
• Preparing monthly reports for the tax office.
• Managing the cash register machine.
• Recording financial transactions using Peachtree Accounting Software.
• Preparing, organizing, and filing receipts and accounting documents.
• Performing office administrative duties, including filing, report preparation, and payment processing.
• Carrying out additional duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution or
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Experience

• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Practical knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software.
• Understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and regulations.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
