Golden Star Business Group is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of IT Specialist & CCTV Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's IT infrastructure while ensuring the effective operation and monitoring of its CCTV surveillance systems.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Network Engineering
• Or another closely related field

Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in IT systems administration, technical support, or a similar role.

Technical Competencies

Candidates should have:

• Strong knowledge of network configuration, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments and Windows client operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Video Management Software (VMS) and CCTV/IP camera installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing hardware and software issues.
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify unusual activities while monitoring surveillance systems.
• Professional integrity and discretion when handling confidential company information and security footage.
• Ability to prepare clear incident reports and explain technical issues to non-technical staff.

Job Summary

The IT Specialist & CCTV Operator will perform a dual role by maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure—including servers, networks, computers, and peripheral devices—while also overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and real-time monitoring of CCTV and IP camera systems to support organizational security and operational efficiency.
