​Job Purpose
​This dual-role position combines technical systems administration with active security surveillance. The ideal candidate will manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization’s IT infrastructure (servers, networks, client devices, and peripherals) while simultaneously overseeing the installation, configuration, and real-time monitoring of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and IP camera networks.
​Key Responsibilities
​1. IT & Systems Administration

Infrastructure Maintenance:
Administer, update, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, active directory, and local network architecture.

Hardware Support:
Install, configure, and maintain office hardware, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and networked multi-function printers.

Data & Cloud Management:
Manage enterprise cloud storage solutions (such as Dropbox and Google Drive), ensuring seamless data synchronization, quota management, and secure backup strategies.

Software & Collaboration Tools:
Deploy and troubleshoot desktop productivity applications, communication tools (including desktop messaging clients), and specialized business software.
​2. Camera & Surveillance Operations

CCTV System Management:
Install, configure, and align IP/Analog cameras, Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), and Network Video Recorders (NVRs).

Live Monitoring & Security:
Actively monitor live camera feeds to detect security breaches, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.

System Maintenance:
Conduct routine hardware maintenance on cameras (cleaning, focusing, securing mounts) and manage video storage retention periods and storage optimization.

Footage Retrieval:
Extract, review, and archive video footage for incident investigations, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and company policies.
​Job Qualifications
​Education & Experience

Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
more than three years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
​Technical Skills
​Proficiency in network configuration (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, and Wi-Fi infrastructure).
​Working knowledge of Windows Server environments and client OS.
​Experience with Video Management Software (VMS) platforms and camera hardware alignment.
​Soft Skills

Sharp Attention to Detail:
Ability to spot anomalies or suspicious behavior across multiple video feeds.

Problem-Solving:
Strong diagnostic skills for both software glitches and hardware failures.

Discretion & Integrity:
High ethical standards regarding data privacy, sensitive security footage, and internal company information.

Communication:
Ability to write clear incident reports and explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
