Awash Capital S.C. is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to apply for multiple career opportunities in Addis Ababa. Position 1: Internal Audit Officer

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are considered an added asset.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of progressive auditing experience, preferably in investment banking or the financial services sector.
  • Good understanding of IFRS, Ethiopian regulatory requirements, and risk-based auditing practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of capital markets, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with audit reporting and data analysis.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple audit assignments independently.

Position 2: Research, Planning and Monitoring Officer

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Accounting, Statistics, Development Studies, or another relevant field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in research, strategic planning, business analysis, or monitoring and evaluation.
  • Previous experience in financial institutions or investment banking is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Ethiopia’s capital market and investment banking environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent analytical, research, report-writing, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems, KPIs, and business analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting and planning assignments while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
