Position 1: Human Rights Officer – Women’s Rights
Qualifications & Experience
- LLM, MA, or LLB in Law, Human Rights Law, International Law, or a related field.
- LLB: At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- LLM/MA: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Knowledge of Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.

Main Responsibility:
The successful candidate will support day-to-day human rights monitoring activities across different sectors and levels, with a particular focus on promoting and protecting women’s rights.
Location: Asossa City Office
Monthly Salary: ETB 27,129 – 31,405
House Allowance: ETB 12,100
Transport Allowance: ETB 4,000
Position 2: Translator and Press Officer
Qualifications & Experience
- MA or BA in Language Studies, Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, International Studies, Political Science, or a related field.
- BA: At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- MA: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Knowledge of Amharic and the relevant regional local language is required.
- Afaan-related language: 1 position
- Arabic: 1 position
