The Human Resource Officer at Gift Real Estate PLC will play a crucial role in managing HR functions within the organization, focusing on recruitment, training, and employee development. This full-time position requires a senior professional with 5-8 years of experience, working in an office environment in Addis Ababa. The role involves leveraging HRIS and technology to enhance HR processes and support a dynamic workforce. The ideal candidate will be adept at data analysis to inform decision-making and improve HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Utilize HRIS and technology to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
Conduct research and data analysis to assess HR metrics and inform strategy.
Facilitate effective communication between management and employees regarding HR policies.
Manage employee relations and address conflict resolution effectively.
Support performance management processes and provide guidance to managers.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
Participate in workforce planning and development initiatives.
Required Skills:
BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Social Science or related field of study from Recognized University/College with minimum of 6 years of work experience  of which 2 years in relevant position.
Demonstrate expertise in recruitment and selection processes to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to foster a positive workplace culture.
Leverage HRIS and technology tools to optimize HR operations and reporting.
Conduct thorough research and data analysis to drive informed HR decisions.
Design and implement comprehensive training and development programs for employees.
Facilitate employee orientation and onboarding to ensure smooth integration.
Evaluate and improve HR processes based on data-driven insights.
Support managers in performance management and employee development discussions.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR information.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employees to enhance engagement.
