Hope for Justice (HFJ) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to ending human trafficking and modern slavery. Since its establishment in 2008, the organization has been working across four continents and eight countries to prevent exploitation, rescue victims, restore lives, and promote long-term social change. HFJ currently operates in the United Kingdom, United States, Cambodia, Norway, Australia, Ethiopia, and Uganda, with its global headquarters in Manchester, England.
Hope for Justice Ethiopia is inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following positions.
1. Programme Manager – Child Protection & Policy
Educational Qualification
- MA/MSc Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Community Development, Development Studies, or other related social and behavioral science disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a senior position within an international NGO (INGO).
- Extensive experience in program design, implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Strong background in child protection programming and policy development.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable children and families.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with partners and colleagues.
- Experience managing partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
- High standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
2. Senior Finance Officer
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting within the development or humanitarian sector.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior finance or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial management, and staff supervision.
- Previous NGO/INGO financial management experience is required.
- Experience managing UNICEF-funded projects is considered an advantage.

3. Community Facilitator
Educational Qualification
- Completion of Grade 12 or higher.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in community engagement with an international NGO.
- Experience facilitating Self-Help Groups (SHGs) or other community-based programs.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic digital skills for documentation, reporting, and taking photographs.
