Role description
Habesha Breweries Share Company (“Habesha”) is one of the leading Ethiopian brewing companies. Habesha was initiated by a group of local Ethiopian investors in 2009. The company is currently owned by Swinkels Family Brewers Holding N.V. (60%), 8,000 local shareholders (30%), and Linssen Participations B.V. (10%).
The Graduate in Training (GIT) Sales Program is an intensive talent acceleration initiative designed to shape the future commercial leaders of our business. Over 12 months you’ll gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and fast-track your progression within our sales and commercial functions.
Position 1: Graduate in Training (GIT) – Sales
Education: A recently completed Bachelor’s Degree in any field (graduated within the last 2 years).
Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional work experience (entry-level candidates are highly encouraged to apply).
Extracurricular Leadership: Active participation in extracurricular activities (e.g., student union, youth associations, volunteer work, or campus leadership roles) is highly preferred, demonstrating your ability to lead, collaborate, and take initiative.
Mobility: willingness to travel or relocate regionally for field assignments.

Position 2: Sales Promoter
What We’re Looking For
- Ensure the proper management of the Company’s Fridge and report on time if repair is required
- Education – BA Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferably 1+ year of relevant work experience, particularly in sales, customer service, or a field-based commercial role.
- Proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English is a plus,
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
- Target-driven with a strong focus on delivering results.
- Proactive and able to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
Important Note: The employment contract is not directly with Habesha. This is a junior sales position managed by a third party, serving as a talent hub that can open opportunities for bigger sales roles within our organization.
Location: Gojam
Position 3: Trade Quality Analyst
Education: BSc degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Food Processing Engineering/Technology.
Work Experience: a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant capacity.
Quality Auditing: Conducting trade quality and warehouse audits as per plan, addressing audit reports, and implementing corrective actions for any gaps found.
Inventory Management: Ensuring stock rotation of kegs in outlets and warehousing activities following the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle.
Customer Complaint Management: Providing rapid responses to customer complaints and making regular reports on quality problems that need resolution.
Equipment & Process Maintenance: Ensuring cleaning effectiveness of Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and driving improvements across draught cleaning operations through root-cause problem-solving.
Compliance & Reporting: Handling non-conformities and customer feedback immediately, and implementing the QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) Management System by following policies, procedures, and work instructions.
