On behalf of our client, Bonanza Addis Hotel, we are hiring a General Manager to join the team!

Purpose of the job
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management, strategic leadership, and daily operations of the hotel. The position ensures excellent guest service, strong financial performance, and operational efficiency, compliance with Ethiopian laws and hospitality regulations, and adherence to international hotel standards.
Key responsibilities      
– Provide overall leadership and direction for the hotel.
– Develop annual business plans, budgets, and operational strategies.
– Ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
– Maintain the hotel’s four-star standards and brand reputation.
– Oversee all hotel departments, including: Front Office & Reservations, Housekeeping & Laundry, Food & Beverage, Kitchen / Restaurant, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Purchasing, Human Resources, Engineering / Maintenance, Security, Guest Relations.
– Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
– Ensure exceptional guest experience and satisfaction.
– Build and maintain strong working relationships with airline partners including Ethiopian Airlines and international carriers.
– Prepare and manage annual hotel budgets.
– Monitor: Occupancy, Revenue, Expenses, Cash flow, Profitability.
– Review ADR (Average Daily Rate) and Rev PAR.
– Work closely with sales and reservation teams.
– Recruit qualified staff and department heads.
– Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor law and internal HR policy.
– Present operational and financial updates to owners.
Job Requirements 
Education               – Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
– Master’s Degree is an advantage.
 Experience    – Minimum 8–10 years hotel experience with minimum of 4–5 years in senior management or General Manager Position.
– Experience in international-standard or four-star hotel preferred
