Purpose of the job
The Business development officer is responsible for assisting the business development manager in implementation of business development strategies.
Key responsibilities      
– Maintain client contact information up-to-date.
– Client post-sales follow up ensure satisfaction.
– Coordinate client onboarding process.
– Analyze industry trends and competitor activity.
– Identify new market opportunities and potential partnerships. 
– Gather data on potential clients and their needs.
– Identifying potential clients through market research.
– Reach out to leads via various channels, such as cold calling, email, and others.
– Develop and maintain a prospect pipeline.
– Prepare sales presentations, proposals and other marketing materials in collaboration with BDM.
– Schedule meetings and appointments with potential clients.
– Gather information on client needs and requirements.
– Assist in development of sales strategies and proposals.
– Manage and organize business development documents and files.
– Track sales performance metrics and prepare reports.
– Handle email and phone inquiries related to business development.
Job Requirements 
Education               – Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
 Experience    – 2 years and above experience in relevant role.
Skills– Basic understanding of  sales principles and business development strategies.
– Research and analytics skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  
– Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
